Marlene King avslöjer lite om A's strategi

For those confused by “A”’s strategy in last night’s episode (and, you know, ever), Pretty Little Liars showrunner Marlene King has news for you.

“There is a method to A's madness,” Marlene tweeted last night. That’s comforting to hear because, as the Liars pointed out in Season 4, Episode 1: “A is for A-L-I-V-E,” it doesn’t immediately make a whole heck of a lot of sense to save the girls from the fire only to frame them for murder. Well, unless you’re “A,” apparently, who — as Spence puts it — likes to play with her mouse before she kills it.

The question Marlene was responding to asked if “A”’s actions were for revenge, or if they were “just for play.” Marlene seemed to rule out “just for fun,” but does that mean it is revenge? And, if so, revenge for what? We know that the PLL Powers That Be have said they are not bringing in the “Ali has a twin” storyline from the books, but we can’t help but think it is the elephant in the room. Maybe there is another completely plausible theory that will make total sense when it is revealed, but right now the twin thing seems like the only answer.
